I couldn't get to sleep the other night and just when I was nodding off a series of fireworks were set off - and 1:15 in the morning!!! Luckily the week before bonfire night I will be away in Las Vegas - but will be getting back on the 4th so my jetlagged self will have to invest in earplugs so I can sleep before going to work the next day!

I used to wear playboy stuff and have a few few old handbags around. My hubby bought my first Playboy item a good eight years ago - whilst it was still very kitsch and before it became too "chav", all my playboy bits were very hard to get hold of and I own a few choice bits such as cocktail shakers (not the cheap tat for Argos mind). |I really dislike the way it has become mainstream and the way that the brand is being pushed at the younger end of the market. I bought my playboy things knowing full well what playboy and hugh hefner were about. Its downright wrong when I see young girls wearing their stuff - I sexualizes the young and then we all moan about how kids grow up too fast. I love playboy and Hugh Hefner, and hats off to the man really, but I refuse to buy any more playboy stuff while their target market for merchandise seems to be teenage girls.

Does anyone know if there are any new tattooists working at Thou Art yet? I know Stuart and Val left, but havent had chance to go down and speak to Graham about who he is getting to replace them. Does anyone know who they might be?

when I doodle I usually do old school tattoo designs - swallows, hearts, diamondscherries etc. My blotter at work is covered in them - nobody ever has to ask who's desk it is.

Hi mills, I've been inked by Val, if you check her online work - I'm the one with pink flames on my forearm, her photos in her book in the studio have both my arms, she has done big pink flames on one arm and blue on the other, with blue diamonds round my wrist and has also just dona a cherry blossom on my neck. She is amazing, and very friendly. She always takes loads on time to talk with you and tries to give you loads of ideas, I've got loads planned with her for the future. Hope this helps

It happens to me all the time in the sales, I must have saved hundreds throughout the past few years. I used to work in a shop and it's not unusual for sale prices to change quickly, and because its such a big job to keep marking down tickets on the stock - some lines do get missed and the staff only find out at the till. In those cases, if they have a lot of that stock left- they will usually get someone out to re-price it. Sometimes it can be a mistake that it was priced that low - but its rare - especially with sale stock.

You have to text them from an orange phone and they send back a code which you then show to the person at the box office when buying your tickets. If you are not on orange - you can't get the text - and some cinemas check what number the text has come from - so you can't get a mate to text you the code. Sorry! Looks like you can't use that deal!

I've got a voucher for free haircuts etc for the next five months for the Hairband, and wondered what its like (is it friendly etc)? I am slightly scared of hair dressers and thought this might be an opportunity to get myself sorted. Any comments or advice would be very welcome.

I used to go to the old corp every week, I was there the night it opened and was there the night it closed. for an entire year I went 3 times a week. Oh and I met my husband there - good times, good memories, the new corp isn't a patch on the old one!!

I went past them last nigth and this morning. It seems that some of the food places are still closed. I think Calcotts might be open and possibly the Space Centre, but other than that I can't be sure

That not the real flag of south yorkshire. Its some sort of council type thing. The "proper" flag has a huge white rose in the centre and a pale blue background. I have one at home as I couldn't find a Sheffield flag to take to the Download Festival

I haven't been on the forum for a while, but me and the other half went to Download and absolutely loved it. We were even talking about 2008 in the car on the way home. Good times had by all. We didn't make many friends tho (we are a shy bunch) - so nearer the time I'm gonna try and organise a SF meet for any sheffielders going to DL!!

I know you may have sorted it now - but Superdrug sell wipes for removing hair dye, failing that use Clinique toner - it really works and I swear by it (I dye my hair two different colours).
