  1. diet, excersize and plenty of sit ups preferably with added weights (ie hold weight ball while doing dit ups)
  2. make sure its long enough for his snout as Bailey's wasnt which caused him to get spots which would bleed when he rubbed them. He doesn't wear a muzzle now tho just a head collar. Take lots of his fav food with you too, good luck.
  3. I do everything I can to make sure he see's his son. He refuses to pick him up from my house so I make sure he's at my mums for him to pick him up and let him drop him off there. I always offer for him to have him extra during school holidays but he doesn't always have him more. The problem is everytime I offer him more access I get it thrown in my face and he tells I'm a bad mother sometimes I wonder why I bother. Which is why this time, if he tries to make my life harder I'll go for every other weekend so I can have some fun time with our son and not just to and from school!
  4. HAHA My mother is constantly saying she wants to take him on Jeremy Kyle while I'v got more self respect
  5. thanks for the advise, if I had a penny for everytime he told me he had gone or going to a solicitor for something or other I'd be a very rich woman. He is very awkward and tries to make my life extra hard all because I was the one who left. He seems to think he is a great dad when it couldnt be further from the truth! He gets him every weekend which is more than reasonable esp as our son is in school and shared weekends is advised due to me not seeing him much during the week. I have a friend who is a family court magistrate and get lots of advise from him so I know what my rights are. My ex is just trying to make my life diffecult whereas I could stop the weekend visits and make it every other weekend but Im not that kind of person. I think our son should see his dad as much as possible but I always get it thrown in my face!
  6. Hi, having a few problems with the ex regarding our son and when he brought our son home yesturday he told me his Dad had contacted a solicitor. I have used Howell's once before when we first split but as I was single and working part-time I didnt have to pay for their services. But now I'm married and working longer hours so, I was just wondering if anyone had an idea how much they charge? Thanks
  7. I know how u feel, we have a lab around the same age. Took him to training, he is brill at tricks etc but when it comes to being around other dogs he jusy bounces around. Doesn't get agressive just over playful which is not good when its a small dog and he's jumping all over place. We used to use the field where the Asda is being built but can't now I am considering using the tenis courts at Hillsborough park in early hours of morning when no one is using them to just let him run after his tennis ball.
  8. Thanks, he seems to be the cheapest Iv seen so will book in as soon as my provisional comes.
  9. Hi, can anyone reccomend a good automatic instructor who does block bookings? Thanks
  10. another from the husband: a romantic song came on the radio (cant remember which one) husband: "this is a nice song, think I'll play this to you at my funeral" me: "that'd be a nice trick"
  11. its not just women, a couple of months ago the husband and I were walking through meadowhall. He pointed out a shop sign which was black with balck writting, turned to me and said "you can't see that sign if your not looking at it". My reply "yes, you tend to have to look at things to see them!"
  12. from a sellers point of view I'd say no, we bought our house 5yrs ago for £80k did £10k+ repairs (windows, facias, soffets, doors, decorating) and todays its worth £85k this is for a 3bed semi. But, as we bought our house because its all we could afford at the time and not to make money its not too dissapointing.
