  1. I don't think it's just your posts HeadingNorth that are going gaga! I'd also posted saying that I need to get my full Experian report but that post isn't showing.
  2. Hiya, no I wasn't being offended by anything anyone had posted - I just meant that I wondered if anyone knew of a short cut. I know the Police will have to be my first port of call.
  3. All I know at the moment is that credit was gained using my name at his business address. My next step will be to ring Experian for the full details. Once I've got those, I'll be taking them to Hammerton Road.
  4. Thanks for the replies. I wasn't being deliberately lazy! I just know there are tax men/solicitors on here who might know how to show me a short cut!
  5. At the moment, I don't know who that is, but yes, that's a line to persue. I'm meaning more of an official route - ie/ who are Accountants accountable to?
  6. As the title says, does anyone know which body I should report an accountant to, that has fraudulently applied for credit in someone elses name? The Police is the first stop obviously, but would it be the FSA? Or is there another organisation that accountants are registered to?
  7. I have a neighbour 4 doors away who allows her son to 'express himself' at any given time of day. If he feels like going into their garden at 6am on a Sunday morning and screaming his head off, well that's just tough to the rest of us wanting a lie in. I've nick-named the little git Tarquin. (amongst other names I can't post on here!)
  8. My will was written about 20 years ago so could do with updating. Willman, what sort of cost would I be looking at for a very straightforward one? ie/ the lot goes to my son.
  9. I think you've answered my question Davy - it doesn't have to be insured if it's off road!
  10. Hence why I asked for people who will know for definite.
  11. Hiya Medusa The current car value is about £2k. The insurance is £1400 ( as of March 2011) It's one of those gambles - do I sell it, or just off-road it? Where I'm thinking of off roading is completely off road - very little chance of it being nicked. Thanks for everyones advice; my question has been answered, so feel free to lock it.
  12. Hiya Davyboy, The insurance is due at the end of March which is why I'm trying to plan ahead. So, as long as it's off the public highways, I don't have to insure it? ETA - I get the tax thing re SORN, but I'm really asking about insurance.
  13. The question was "Would you ever disown someone?"... I've responded to the direct question; there is much that I've left out so please don't insinuate that I don't have an eye on the situation. As Frank has already replied above, what I did made her realise what a **** mother she was.. Her kids have my numbers in their phones if ever they need me - and they regularly send me naff jokes etc - then they know all they need to do is contact me
  14. I said I put the phone down on my ex best friend - not her kids.
