  1. THESE ITEMS HAVE NOW BEEN TAKEN. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST. I am selling a selection of photography magazines on the forum (in the classified section). I would like £5 for them and there are about 70 issues. Ideal for an amateur photographer who wants to learn more or just looking for inspiration. I also have a Lowepro camera bag for sale, again for £5. The bag fits a SLR body and two lenses or is a handy day bag for a compact or bridge camera. Hopefully another keen photographer can benefit from them.
  2. Some lovely shots there - well done. I especially like the close up of the flower (iris?). Good luck with the photography. I hope you find a course that suits you. Make sure that you choose a course that encourages you to keep taking photographs rather than bogging you down with the theory. Or one that lets you develop your own eye while helping you learn the technical side could be good.
  3. I would also be interested in a networking/social group for freelancers. I would be happy to work with someone else and organise this if there was the demand (as there seems to be).
  4. Some lovely shots there, well done. I especially like the last one.
  5. I am looking for a local company that produce window decals/stickers and was hoping for recommendations based on quality, convenience and cost. The sticker will have a solid backing and will be the full length of the window (though not sure of the measurments at present). Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Apologies if this post is in the wrong thread.
  6. Does anyone have any more information please about the BNI networking events at Green's gym? Are these still running and if so when? Can you turn up without booking?
  7. 0742sheff - Thanks for the tip, where's Maplins?
  8. I have used rechargeable batteries before but have found that they didn't last long and the charging process became an extra faff. But will look into a better quality rechargeable than I have used previously so thanks for the tip. Was given some Energizer Lithium to use and they really have lasted well.
  9. Where is the best place to buy Energizer Lithium batteries, either in Sheffield or online? Or if anyone knows of a better alternative that would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  10. The Blue Room was recommended to me on a thread I started. If you go to their website they have vouchers for free kids meals http://www.blueroombrasserie.co.uk/offers.php They don't do weekday lunches from what I can see but are open for lunches at the weekend, as well as early evening meals.
