I would say that it is a Water Vole (or water rat as they are also known). A fully grown adult... see this one taken in Derbyshire a few years ago here Seems to fit the smaller ears, rounder face look...

Hi everyone, Happy New Year !!! (1st time on since December!!) Something is REALLY beginning to bug me now... the Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor “Quasi una fantasia”, Op. 27, No. 2”, by L Beethoven, more populary known as the “Moonlight Sonata” and I love it BUT I can't for the life of me remember what film I have heard it in. I was trying to tell someone what film it was and I can remember that its a sad film but thats all I can remember. I have google'd until my fingers hurt so I was hoping that SF (the fountain of all knowledge) might be able to help!!! You haven't let me down yet Thank youuuuuu!!!
