  1. Didn't that phone shop get robbed a couple of months ago too ?
  2. The ward sister or manager is the person you need to talk to if fairness any lost property is confidential and passed to the manager so they would be best suited to assist . I know it's no help to you .
  3. sadly there's no simple solution . Yes property records are made but often not until the ward by which time the patient has 1 left home 2 been in transport 3 visited AnE 4 AMU/MAC/Frailty unit . 5 ward so many places in such a relative short time and that's if the patient is immobile if disorainted often more . The Simple answer is don't bring valuables in but in practice that's never going to happen for so many reasons.
  4. It's a very common problem sadly especially with patients often being moved multiple times even before getting to a ward . Add to the fact a lot of patients rings are at best ill fitting it's a very common problem . I've lost count how many times I've found rings hearing aids ect in bedding not to mention wrapped in tissues scrunched up in balls on tables .
  5. Have you tried that vintage/retro store the old auction house in shalesmoor.
  6. Have thought about renting a space at a Wentworth or Elscar both have history of attracting footfall for niche markets . Both new and historic shops seem to get a good amount of exposure . My concern is rolling pins by there very nature take up a large amount of space and require special fixtures to display . Can i ask how many you have in your collection to display ? ( Could i suggest a create your own rolling pin as a way of generating income)
  7. Theres only 2 in the town center that im aware of 1st is in the winter gardens 2nd in the new market . Both only open in the day time. I suppose you could count the train station and bus station but not really the center of town or free .
  8. lived on the main road for many years now only had the garage broken in 1 time about 7 years ago . Nothing taken as we just use it as a dump area.
  9. More expensive yes but adds extra capacity Re NGH the time saved going via Foxhill Southey would more than make up for the extra mile or 2 in my view .
  10. The other option would be to look at a link to Foxhill/Grenoside missing the whole Sainburys bottle neck ?
  11. Sorry should have stated that its a DBS they have not CRB Just had a quick look on the DBS site which has no mention of displaying the certificates.
  12. My mum helps at a local church and they were told they had to be displayed or available on request without question so they just put them on display . As for a legal requirement im not sure.
  13. If its a club they often have them displayed .
  14. Have you tried local garden centers ? Wentworth had a good selection but it depends on budget , The range had a few in yesterday .
  15. When you take into account London wages are often higher than Sheffield and the fact jobs easier to come by this might have an impact . Other factors like cheap street markets are still very common in London unlike Sheffield.
