  1. Creative Edge is a new and exciting project that champions inclusion and community within Sheffield City Centre through the use of the creative arts. Based in Sheffield Cathedral’s Community Resources Centre (Entry via the steel gates on Campo lane) it aims to bring people together to share learning experiences, make new friends and have some fun along the way. However you interact with the city – whether you’re a local resident, a student, someone experiencing homelessness, a business worker, asylum seeker or using local support services then Creative Edge is for you! Are you interested in having a go at photography or film making? Do you want to learn how to sing in a people’s choir? How about experimenting with words and learning to write poetry? Would you enjoy learning to play guitar or drums? Maybe you want to become a great song writer? Are visual arts your style? Perhaps you would like to gain more confidence in a friendly, fun way using performance skills? Phase Two kicks off on Monday 25th February, with a series of ALL FREE workshops. If you see something you like simply come down, sign up and join in! We look forward to seeing you. For details of timetables for the classes visit our website http://www.sheffieldcathedral.org. 11. Sheffield Cathedral is thrilled to announce that Architects of Air will be coming to Sheffield Cathedral for the first time. The most spectacular event of the year to come to South Yorkshire. Arriving from Saturday 23- Thursday 28 July. Architects of Air is an internationally renowned inflatable walk in art installation, manufactured from translucent pvc, the Luminarium, Amococo. The structure transforms natural light into a kaleidoscope of liquid light and colour spilling across labyrinthine pathways, cavernous domes and curved walls. The initial reaction is often one of wonder and delight at the unexpected beauty created ,often described as walking through a stained glass window.
