  1. Hey, just an old SF'er offering advice.........
  2. Since the law changed in October 2012, a bit of free advice here: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/private-parking-tickets
  3. Kwik Fit at the bottom of Ecclesall Road? They fixed the OH's tyre when it got a nail in and I'm sure he took it there on a Sunday. Not sure how much it cost though ------ There is one on Penistone Road, the number is 285 4595 so you could give them a ring in the morning and see what they say
  4. There's 3 fruit beers (cherry is my fave ), and (i think) 12 ales but not sure of the names of them all. There is also the usuals, lager, cider, wine etc.
  5. going to be a good night, hope plenty of people turn up!
  6. No probs, looking forward to a few glasses of cherry beer now, rather than just staring at the tap on the bar lol!
  7. Last time we went in it cost us £11.99 each, that was a couple of months ago and we haven't been back since
  8. I'm really looking forward to it!
  9. im sure me and sedge will be along for a few :-)
  10. Hi all! I am currently looking to get fit (not a new years resolution as i have been going to gym for the past 6 months) but looking for a bit of variation. I usually go to the gym at Ponds Forge twice a week, but looking to vary it a bit. Anyone know of any ladies football, or any badminton games i could come along to? Preferably looking for mon-wed evenings or during the day sat-sun Thanks in advance Gem x
  11. I make my own soup, I don't use any measurements, just buy whatever veg i fancy, last time i made it i bought potatoes, carrots, parsnip, onions, cabbage, celery. Last time i made it i bought far too much veg from the shop at the very bottom of the moor next to dempseys...filled my rucksack for just £4, much cheaper and better quality than supermarkets chop it all into small cubes, put into a saucepan with a little oil and stir regularly for about 10 mins, then cover with chicken stock (or veg stock), i use 1 stock cube for every litre of liquid....last soup i made took 5 litres to cover everything! I also put some some cut up mishaped bacon in too for a bit extra flavour, cheap and cheerful! Bring to the boil, simmer for 30-40 mins, and its done! If you want a chunky soup, leave as it is, if you want a thick soup then put in a blender, or if you want a mixture of both, put about half in the blender then put back in the pan with the chunky bits :-) I have yet to try putting cream or anything in, but will give it a go next time Perfect for freezing too, i cook in bulk and put in plastic pots, take for my dinner to work and just warm up in the microwave :-)
  12. do you charge to get in? What are the drinks prices like?
