  1. hi was disgusted today i got a parking ticket from sheffield council when i was parked outside my house ( permit space ) clearly displaying a trade permit any advice on challenging it.
  2. chesterfield college offers car mechanics courses then they usually help them find apprenticeships
  3. Hi, I think you've just answered your own questions. avoid !!! also red light district just round the back of west street near the opal developments . You'd be much better buying a property in a much more desirable area in the suburbs such as Crookes, hunters bar very popular with young professionals and good community spirit.
  4. Hi, I know the owner and he is a very professional chartered surveyor who worked alondside my husband for many years, before setting his own agency up so you will not have any problems thanks
  5. Hi, any of the flats near west street are noisy. Also red light district just round the back of west street near the opal developments ( they are plagued with prostitutes ) For the prices they charge to rent them you could rent a nice house in the suburbs .
  6. HI, I have a mobile jiffy catering truck available no towing just park up and serve, only selling due to other business commitments. Why not try mobile catering first as to start a cafe business would take a lot more capital. I have been in the catering business for over 30 years so can advise on suppliers etc had built up a round if your interested
  7. hi, as it is impossible to park anywhere near the hospitals you need to be on a bus route or walkable . very popular areas are crookesmoor walkable, crookes on a bus route, broomhill all very popular areas with young professionals and medics. avoid city centre flats as you can get stung with high service charges on top of your rent and noisy at night.
  8. best to deal with landlords directly why pay an agent try gumtree or this site. with the internet you don't need them
  9. hi, Crookes is very popular with people working at the childrens hospital as it is not too far from the hospital and on a bus route. As it is nigh on impossible to park anywhere near the hospital so you need to factor in public transport, unless your taking one of the top jobs at the childrens hospital you won't get a parking space. Crookes is a good area with lots of shops and amenities, good schools pretty reasonable priced housing stock. hope this helps
  10. Hi, I have a sweet shop in Chesterfield and could easily sort out a vast selection of sweets but most people are not able to move shop fixtures that easily or need them in the shop to display their stock, maybe I could arrange a nice table at your wedding with sweets for guests to help themselves. tel elaine on 01246 234475 during the day
  11. As an experianced landlord if you can afford to buy a house instead of a flat I would do that as they are more popular with tenants, there is no excessive service charges to pay and they will usually resell better if you get fed up of renting out.
  12. I wouldn't be hoodwinked into thinking that there is someone else after it as you said yourself that you'd looked around 6 empty flats . doesn't it tell you something about the place.
  13. Just be aware that the council are putting social cases i.e. Druggies in a lot of the new apartments in town as the developers have so many empty ones on there hands
  14. Beware council are putting social cases i.e. Druggies in the newly built apartments in the city hence there were so many vacant ones to view. They can't get anyone else to rent them
