  1. Thank you ll49 FANTASTIC NEWS- the owners have tracked me down, given an accurate description of her and I'm confident that it is thier dog that I have.. Sox is going home tonight they had been looking for her since 7:30 last night . Thanks all x
  2. Reported to the dog warden as found so hopefully someone will come forward x
  3. I cant see the link from here but if it is a Hitch lock ( Hook on one end and a loop on the other) we use one of the short ones at flyball shows and never have any problems.. mine are crated in the car, windows partially down and the hitchlock on once the boot is locked there is no way of it coming further open without the keys x the short one opens it about 20cm so none can get there hands in to unbolt cages ect and even if they could the dogs wouldn't fit through the gap
  4. Hi loobi thanks I'll log it with them I've taken the dog to be scanned but unfortunately there was no chip found.. I'll post on dog lost once I'm back home x
  5. Hi all, I have found a black /black brindle staffy (with some white) on roaming near viva tequila - it jumped into my car as I was getting in. I hung about for 10 mins but did not see anyone looking for a dog and I asked a couple of passers by who said they did not know the dog. I assume this is someones much loved pet and they have escaped via a broken fence maybe? unfortunately the dog has NO identification collar or tags on. Due to the type of dog this is I will need a description from the owners (hence why my post is very vague) should you think it is your dog. fear not I will not take it to the pound, I have dogs myself and the dog is safe at my house. please if you think this may be your dog/ someone you know please contact me on 07940915444 - I have tried to contact the dog warden to report as found but there doesn't seem to be an OOH number? thanks Ellen x ---------- Post added 12-02-2014 at 20:41 ---------- taking the dog up to the PDSA to scan for a microchip - If no owner is found I will bring her back home until we can track them down
  6. Try preloved http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/107621290/4-x-2013-racing-pigeons.html Just be careful you know what your doing with them before you buy (i'm sure you have reasearched the subject loads..) heard many a story about people buying them for them just to fly home.
  7. If the one in Clowne that you are refering to was the one on clowne park where the springer was pinched (she got him back) and the owner beaten that was my mums friend so I know that one was real (weather or not it was travellers is annother story all together). Sorry to hear about your friend getting injured and I hope she never gets put through anything like that again. I can't believe we are living in a world where this is happening, Its just sick x
  8. Hi all, we have left voicemails today jell, do you currently have any spaces (for 2)? thanks
  9. Hi all I've been looking into the history of beighton just recently (mostly the church and church hall - now The Lifestyle Centre) and I discovered a photo on picture sheffield stating that the church hall (compleate with bell tower) was a school - Beighton Council School? and was built in 1892 and had an upstairs added in 1896 - this was obviously removed when it became a "hall" then reinstated when "Lifestyle" was created link: http://www.picturesheffield.com/frontend.php?keywords=Ref_No_increment%3BEQUALS%3Bs06512&pos=2&action=zoom so does anyone know the truth behind this building? or even that of the three cottages that stood there before it. Any info on this building would be great please i'd love to know it's history ta x

  11. sale doesn't always mean selling stuff off at a low price though speedy usually a black friday sale or similer offers discounts of variing amounts depending on the object ie 10% or 25%. we have "sales" at HOF meadowhall usually calle brand events and there can be anything from 10% - 70% off depending on the item
  12. Coloured cob trecking centre at clowne offers hacks around creswell crags and welbeck i think. x
