  1. I would suggest you try Prime Mover (http://prime-mover.co.uk/). I came across them when one of their trainers came to me as a hypnotherapy client. I dislike most gyms, but I went along just to see (they do a two week free trial) and haven’t looked back. It is not one to one, but they have very small classes and you get as much individual attention as you need to make sure you are getting the most out of the sessions. They are short (25 mins) and intensive. They hurt (at first) but they work. And its fun Ann talking therapies to change your life http://www.wellthought.co.uk
  2. Agree with the earlier comment go to Remo’s instead (its temporarily in Glossop Road while they refurbish the original site) – they will be doing more food when it re-opens. Probably the best coffee in Sheffield. Ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk talking therapies to change your life
  3. Hi smakin It is worth checking on what qualifications allow you to do. The gold standard is a qualification which will eventually allow you membership of the BACP. But many shorter courses can be a step in that direction. Phoning the BACP and asking their advice might be worth it. Best of luck with your future career
  4. I have just had a really nasty experience with Tesco delivery. I live on the 2nd floor and said so very clearly on the delivery form. Yet the driver refused to bring my shopping up the stairs. (I have used Tesco before and never had any problem). After I rang head office the driver eventually brought the shopping up, damaging my wall on the way and being incredibly rude to me. Tesco have refunded the delivery charge, but have not replied to my complaint to them. Come on Tesco – this is NOT good customer service. Perhaps you will reply to me now I have raised this publicly on this forum?
  5. There is a lot of evidence that anything which helps children (and adults too!) relax and focus increases the ability to learn. This would include things like massage, yoga, relaxation techniques, hypnosis, guided imagery. This school sounds forward thinking to me. best wishes Ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk
  6. Hi there It's great that you have given up smoking and diet is important. You might like to take a look at this new programme for help with high blood pressure - The Hypnotensionâ„¢ programme. Your progress is carefully monitored over the course of treatment and it can be tailored to your individual needs. If you are interested in finding out more then you can email or phone me ann@wellthought.co.uk or phone 07900 888112. best wishes and good health ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk

  8. Went to the new S10 butchers yesterday morning and had to queue. Everyone in the quere was saying what a wonderful thing it was to see a butchers in Sheffield again. Hopefully this will spur on the owners of the two shops near the post office to get on and rent them to useful loval businesses. Best wishes Ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk
  9. Hi Stranza I am a qualified hypnotherapist and the editor of The Hypnotherapy Journal so I know quite a bit about this. Hypno gastric band can have very good results but ONLY with some clients. Most hypnotherapists will use it in certain circumstances but will do a lengthy assessment with the client to see if it is the right intervention for them. One thing it is worth pointing out is that it is not a magic fix and it is important to eat healthily as well as to control portions. If your friend does want to use any hypnosis technique to help with weight loss I would advise that she chooses a practitioner who holds a recognised qualification and belongs to a professional organisation with a code of ethics and a complaints procedure. That way she can be sure of getting proper professional help and the best advice for her. PM me if you would like to discuss this is more detail. Hope this helps Ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk Hypnotherapy to transform your life
  10. HI rosaespanola I am a member of the gym at St Pauls - the staff in the spa are knowlegeable and friendly. I think your best bet would be to give them a ring or pop in and ask what they recommend. Have a great day Ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk Hypnotherapy to transform yur life

  14. Hi Zoe I used to edit a nursing magazine so know a bit about this. If you have the right academic qualifications, then some hands on work in a care home would be a plus when you apply for a course. Also, if you have not done this sort of work before it will give you a chance to find out if it is for you. Maybe you could also ring the uni you have applied to and ask their advice. It is in their interest to get the best quality, most informed students so they should give you some help. Hope it goes well Ann http://www.wellthought.co.uk
