Quickest Way To Skegness From Sheffield
sedith replied to Chekhov's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Getting to north Devon generally entails using J23 at Bridgwater and then A39 which can be a slow process. The A39 doesn't get much better until it turns into the 'Atlantic Highway' southwest of Barnstaple. You then negotiate Camelford/Wadebridge etc joining the A30 at Fraddon. Everything is slow progression here in the west country. -
I'm particularly fond of their Pork Wellington.

We're frying eggs on the pavements here in north Devon .... well, not exactly, ha, ha!

Reasonable Priced Removals For Local Move?
sedith replied to SCM1's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I used Castle Removals of Halfway Industrial Estate for our move from Sheffield to Taunton; £1300 to a storage facility near Norton Fitzwarren, 240 miles. Can't praise them enough. A local company here, Taunton to Minehead, £550, 21miles, doesn't add up. https://abcastle.co.uk/?utm_source=GMB Post&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=GMB Post -

If I'm not mistaken isn't the site contaminated with asbestos? -
The fag in the south was Players Weights or Woodbines by choice. Park Drive never really hit it off here in the south. I was a Number 6 man, later Embassy then B&H. The last cigarette I smoked was a Rothmans Royals Lights, that was 22 years ago. Never had one since thank god. Felt **** for a couple of years, but you get through it. Pack it in for 2 weeks and you've cracked it. Just saying, not easy, but neither is life?

I remember that. Family near us on Lowedges had one until the dad sawed it in half wooden, ha, ha!

New Steepest Street In Sheffield

Porlock Hill holds the prize of being the steepest A road in England. -
Funny you should say that. I fuelled up at Tesco's in Minehead with diesel. A couple of times I have had a misfire. Its the cheapest around here. Back to Texaco, paying £190.9 .... arghh!
