I have to give my assessment based on what I've observed, and I don't assume the government is losing thousands on this, even millions, it is imo.

The ones I've seen arrive don't appear on the breadline, they aren't being sought by the police, they can afford to pay traffikers, thousands don't have relatives here - thousands = backlog = money deficit.

I'd like to know how the people who 'vet' them differentiate between the genuine asylum seekers and the ones who are not being persecuted by thei governments, there seems a mighty of them and they aren't under arrest, they are free to make their way here - thousands of them.

Very true, it's affecting Jewish and Muslim peoples in peaceful countries, this problem shouldn't be settled entirely by partisan countries - and buffer zones can't stop missiles.

Did maritime law consider this, it wasn't happening then - we are 'overflowing', Europe is being used, our resources won't last indefinitely, our economies will be affected - stem unlimited immigration, you can't tell people that 200,000 approx. are escaping persecution.

They do, and it needs to be condemned, the countries need to take responsibility and have to be answerable, the problem is how do we sanction them.

We can't leave people to drown, we have to rescue them, what if we towed them back to the French coast and left them there, would we be fined, what's the worst that could happen?

Can't drones be used to target where the dinghies are heading before they reach the beaches, even if the boats were punctured there could hardly be complaints from the migrants. If the dinghies are coming into France they could be confiscated, if they are being made in France it's high time they are stopped.
