    The Truth is out there
  1. I've had shingles twice in the past 12 months. It varies person to person, shingles though is from the same virus that causes chickenpox, and the virus can lay dormant for many years. Shingles is a reactivation of the varicella zoster virus infection that causes chickenpox. For some reason, often many years later, the virus travels back down one of the nerves to the skin, where it causes a rash in the area of skin supplied by that nerve. It's not clear what triggers reactivation of the chickenpox virus but it may be linked to changes in the immune system such as an infection elsewhere in the body, or after physical or emotional shock. Ensuring your immune system is not weakened may help to prevent this occurring. The skin blisters that form in shingles are full of the chickenpox virus, which means a person with shingles is infectious. You can catch chickenpox from someone with shingles, if you've never had the infection and therefore aren't immune. But you can't catch shingles from someone with shingles (or someone with chickenpox).

  4. In the interim, you might like to try the following: Print an EEPROM information page, step number 2 below. Once you have an EEPROM print you can reset the waste ink counter, if needed, which is step number 4 below. Service Mode: This printer has a service mode for service-related settings and for performing test prints. The operator panel buttons are used to enter the desired service mode. Service Mode Operations With the printer powered off, hold down the resume button and press the power button. While holding down the power button, release the resume button and press the resume button twice in succession. Now release the power button. The indicator will blink in green and remain lit in green. Select one of the following service mode functions by pressing the “RESUME Button” the specified number of times. 1 time = Service test print. 2 times = EEPROM information print. 3 times = EEPROM initialization 4 times = Waste ink counter resetting 5 times = Destination settings 6 times = Print head deep cleaning Then press the “Power Button” one time to perform the function just selected. Good luck!
