  1. Hiya, I've never popped into this group before so thought I'd say Hi I'm really interested in baking and cooking but I am so rubbish it's embarrassing, I mean I can't even do microwave meals without blowing the place up, I manage to uncook or burn ready meals, its an actual joke. My partner of 2 years is brilliant in the kitchen but I hate how he works 12 hours a day and then has to come back and come for us. I've recently in the middle of weaning my 5month old and would love to be able to start giving her stuff of ours rather than jar food. So, I ask of you; sheffield forumers...for tips, hints; teach me how to cook! I shall add pictures of my 'progress' or 'fail meals' lol. Might be a laugh?? Thanks, Kimmi.
  2. Hiya!! I've recently had a little girl called Leah, I say recently, 4 months ago lol. I will be up for swimming at hillsborough baths with our little ones! Or a strole in the park with the prams! PM when you've popped or if you need any advise on pregnancy/labour feel free to ask! Good luck and congratulations xxx
  3. Hi there, I'm looking for a specific plumber in sheffield, crookes. His names James, late 20's. He made a real good job at my friends work place last week...but we've lost the invoice for his number/contact details. Seem's a long shot, but worth a try! Thanks for any help.
  4. I'm 6 days off my due date and still clueless lol...I know I'm having a girl an so far and I really like Sadie-Marie, Tiffany, Leah, Aimee and Melissa, Kali-Rose, oh and Amelia If I was having a boy it'd have to be Dylan or Tyler Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck name picking xx
  5. My partners mums already offered, but its not fair on him. No ones really got the time for him, I would really like him to go into a loving home where he's going to get the attention he needs and deserves, I need to focus my attention onto the little one (she'll be my first). Thanks for the advise though

  7. Hiya, sorry to jump in on the thread, but I think that's a great idea, some great advise and when my LO (eventually lol) gets to that stage I will be trying that out!! Good luck with the pregnancy btw, I'm 38 weeks at the moment and this weathers just not helping lol. Kimmi.
  8. My fellas into guitar/drums etc and said the guy at real time music is really helpful and deffinately knows what he's talking about, fair prices too, they have a lot of stock in and even if they haven't got what you're looking for they'll order it in from the chesterfield branch. Hope this helps
  9. Hiya, I'm in the process of booking a big family holiday to Butlins next Summer...I've looked around and found that there is a national express that picks everyone up in Sheffield bus station and takes you straight there to the actual resort. For me, my partner and soon to be little one its £55 return!!! Trains £40 return..EACH! Plus you'd have to find you're way from the station to the resort. I'll be booking the coach I think! Have a look into it!
  10. The co-op does them, me and my partner saw them whilst shopping the other day; they were on the sauces isle.
  11. Has anyone heard anything about a parade in Sheffield today?? Are buses been stopped or something? Any info would be great.

Not tried it but heard that's good too
  13. Hi, just to let you know that the bar has deffinately shut. But the same people are re-opening another just outside Leopold Square, it will be a bar and serve food too! So look out for it in the next couple of months! I don't work there or anything just know someone who does.
  14. Saw this post and been wanting some prints done for ages. So went on snapfish, was really quick and easy to use...plus like someone mentioned earlier in the thread, you get 40 free ones when you sign up, only have to pay 99p for p & p. Looking forward to how they turn out!!
