  1. Just thought I'd ask because I've just seen one on the main road between Ridgeway and the crossroads. I was driving so only got a glimpse but saw a medium sized dog on the pavement, looked like he was on his own, and possibly limping. I did turn the car around but he'd already disappeared. As I say, only saw him for a second, could be that he was actually with someone, went into one of those houses etc but as I couldn't find him and check I thought I'd post here in case. (I keep saying him, I don't know - just saw it was maybe lab sized, don't think it was very chunky though, and probably brown. Sorry for the vague post
  2. Not seen them at a wedding but stumbled upon Highway Child in West st live last year, and loved them! Think they'd be a real crowdpleaser
  3. Bugger, am heading to Norfolk on Friday for the weekend Would've liked the chance to see something
  4. Ok, Spiders 1, spider repeller 0 Luckily vacuum was on hand to save the day, but not impressed
  5. Does the clicking noise drive you mad? Mine is so loud... not seen any spiders since though, so should be grateful I suppose!
  6. There's a fair on at Graves, trouble there perhaps?
  7. Well if you have nothing really tying you to Portsmouth, why not? Try out somewhere completely new
  8. Mazy, I'm from Sheffield but spent 4 years in Ports - the only thing I miss is the sea, on days like this hehe. May be biased but prefer Sheffield overall, definitely
  9. Has anyone lost their Sky signal? Got no real storm in s20, but my Sky says no satellite signal, and I'm hoping I can blame it the weather, as I've just been fiddling with wires and think I broke something! :s
  10. Well maybe stop with the food, just keep track of all sightings so you know where he's hanging around, and then once you get the trap, break out the smelly, tempting food and just wait for him to find it. Sounds like he's wandering all over, so sooner or later he'll cross the trap's path, and touch wood once he's found it he'll fall for it
  11. Velcro would certainly be a unique way of catching dogs! Something's certainly been at your bowl this evening, it was tipped upside down. The biscuits were still there tho so not sure if it was Sid or not.
  12. Nevermind, found it. There was a little bit of food in there, put a couple of dog biscuits in there. Didn't see Sid though
  13. Whereabouts is the bowl on that wasteland, will go check it/top up if needs be - let's convince Sid this is the best place to get some grub whenever he fancies it lol
  14. Such a dick! But if he got close enough to shoo him off, Sid's either getting braver, or so peckish he's less fussed, so really think this is a good spot to put more food/trap down
