  1. Er, btw way this was a request from my partner, not actually me. I've never been on it, being a bloke...rather glad too, happy my lovely lady has come off it, as you say honeyb it's not overly nice!
  2. Anyone come off the depo injection? I came off about a month ago and wonder when my cycle and body will return to normal? Any ideas?
  3. All I would say is be VERY careful when it comes to who looks after the little one, for how long, and why. As an ex single Dad it would have been very easy to buy into the whole let parents or whoever play a big part in looking after the little one (who is now 6 and as gorgeous as ever by the way) but I made the decision that I didn't want anyone involed who didn't share the same ideals as me. No problem with others spending time with him, oe having him for an afternoon or whatever - but the 'care' component was mine and mine alone. And, believe me, I am so thankful that I went it alone, because now my parents are finally accepting of the fact that they do not know better than me, and if they want to look after him they do so in a way that I have my say in, not just in any old way they fancy - which they still do with my sibling's children. It's not a control thing (I don't think) but life can get very difficult if parents and in laws get to a stage where it is almost as if they are the parents - this can be very stressful for all and can't be good for the little ones. Think ahead is all I am saying - and all the above aside, you won't want to let the little one out of sight for more than, say, five seconds at a time anyway if you're anything like me! Good luck, put your foot down, and never compromise!
  4. Gemima I know how you feel and you need to get it sorted. I had a nasty injury playing rugby and my back fairly regularly falls apart; I've had so many days when I couldn't stand up or move. I now see a chiropractor and he has done wonders - never tried acupuncture but it was next on my list if the chiropractor didn't work. I go to the one on Eccleshall Road corner with Collegiate Crescent and it has changed my life!
  5. I don't know whether to get offended / irritated / angry or just to feel a bit sorry for the poor chap, he's clearly several buns short of a picnic and not got any friends.
  6. I went a few months ago - it was lovely, good food etc. However, I went recently - unaware of the change of hands - and could not believe the difference. Staff attitute was rubbish - when I could finally locate them that is. The food was unbelievable - unbelievably bad that is. I had deliberately taken my little ones thinking it was child friendly but had to send their plates back as what we got didn't resemble what we had ordered in any way which distressed them out no end. When I tried to politely point this out to staff they tried to blame it on me! Won't be returning in a hurry - if ever.
  7. I live in Crosspool, let's start our own group, loads of nice places near to go!
  8. Def know they are in Nottingham and Leicester such a shame I'm going nuts having hallucinated them in Sheff
  9. Am I going nuts but did it? I kind of thought I remember seeing it opposite the station, or was that a different Indian eatery? Or did I dream it all? Never eaten in one but heard good things, should we be hoping for one in Sheffield?
