Well just watched the entire 1st season of Flash Gordon the series and boy was i disappointed. It was one of the most dire tv series i've ever seen come out of th states (a truley missed opportunity). The budget was obviously almost none existant/ done on the cheap. and was way Over-hyped.

The Dove & Rainbow is an excellent choice but sometimes the huge demand for songs to be played could mean you have a long wait on your hands,especially during busy weekends. My advice is to get in there early. As for the extended 2/3am license, as the landlord has stated, there is no garantee as yet, that these are going to be the official closing times. Depending on the number of customers in the pub at the time, he could quite rightly close much earlier. At least with a Club you are garenteed a 2:30/3am finish time.

Went a few weeks ago to the Friday Rock Night at the Casbah. It was a good night out, even if a tad expensive. Planning on going tonight if it's still on.

Only decent boozer i know of on West street is Redhouse.. Which have some good bands on tonight. Pity i can't make it tonight, though will be out tomorrow.

I've pretty much given up watching movies on Cable(virgin media). Since they crop their movies. Not showing them in Widescreen in this day an age is a bit amatuarish. But at 1p who can argue at that....providing it's not a crap film they put on.

I'm still on the old Telewest package, so me thinks i need to make a phone call , I guess it dos'nt hurt to try. Has anybody else noticed that all the Pay-per-view movies on Virgin Media are all cropped instead of being in widescreen. Really annoys me as i'm an avid movie watcher, and feel like i'd be much better off Buying/Renting my films instead.

Yes it is. Apparently he was being mugged for his money. Never knew Pizza Dudes carried that much worth stealing to be honest. Apparently there saying that two men were involved in the Shooting/Mugging of the Pizza Dude in Heeley.

Yeah, i'm going on what his girlfriend told me. But i'm sure within the next few days more info will be released in the press about it, for us to get a more accurate picture of what actually went off. Needless to say, it came a quite a big suprise. As i thought he would have been the last person to do anything like that.

What happened was a man shot someone in the leg and has now been arrested for attempted murder. I know cause he lives just across the road from me and i know him personally. Only just found about it myself today.

Sounds a good idea to me. A Sheff Forum Camp. Still hav'nt worked out what to take with me though. First time i've been camping in years. There's always something you always forget to bring. Tent, sleeping bag, Loads of Booze, oh yeah & Girlfriend, to carry it all

Read in the paper not so long ago that they were planning to knock the place down & build someting else in it's place. I don't think it's safe enough in it's current condition to hold any event's, and would cost way too much to bring up to safe standards.
