  1. Council tax money shouldn't have to be spent on fighting court cases about trees but if they are faced with such court action of course they should defend the case I AGREE
  2. We'll still see them occasionally as they perch near to the box now and again but it's down to the luck of timing to do so To help with the withdrawals ....... you can still watch the Derby chicks - they are growing quickly but should still be around for another week or so http://www.derby.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/conservation/peregrines/peregrine-camera-2/
  3. Here's a link I found quickly to taking cases to the High Court https://www.gov.uk/guidance/queens-bench-division-bring-a-case-to-the-court there is a phone number on that link but not specifically for Leeds Hope you have lots of money..... fees start at £10,000 this link tells you what each court does / covers https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/legal-system/taking-legal-action/courts-of-law/
  4. I drove past it and wondered how on earth that had happened. I hope all involved are ok / soon recover
  5. Plenty of activity around the box this afternoon but soon the box will be empty far more often. To help withdrawal symptoms you can watch the Derby chicks which were born two weeks later so still plenty of white fluff http://www.derby.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/wildlife/peregrines/peregrine-camera-3/
  6. Only a few days left before the chicks fledge You'll still be able to watch the Derby chicks for a couple more weeks though
  7. I agree this is good news for genuine blue badge holders For those saving a few £s or a saving themselves walking a few extra metres - is it worth a criminal record?
  8. Holiday 100% My friend's Dad died this week age 84. She is upset that she was not with him at the end but had seen him the day before Spend time with your Dad - he is irreplaceable
  9. Love the comparative luxury of the Warwick nest - the chicks are already on walkabout and currently devouring their team without a parent in site https://open.ivideon.com/embed/v2/?server=100-fDIotrhzaPnBioLsZrUoEn&camera=65536&width=1280&height=720&lang=en&ap=&fs=&noibw= ---------- Post added 21-05-2017 at 20:12 ---------- - - Teatime for the five in Woking http://www.wokingperegrines.com/
  10. They are following the standard approach - getting camera shy Feeding time of three chicks in Derby - only hatched this weekend - the difference in size is astounding ---------- Post added 15-05-2017 at 20:01 ---------- So funny watching Dad try to brood his growing chick in Norwich as the chick has shouts and wriggles 'get off me Dad' http://www.forum.hawkandowl.org/live-feed/norwich-live-feed/
  11. newly hatched chick in Derby now http://www.derby.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/wildlife/peregrines/peregrine-camera-2/ ---------- Post added 14-05-2017 at 08:06 ---------- Feeding time for three chicks in Derby - tiny chicks hatched this weekend http://www.derby.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/parks-and-open-spaces/wildlife/peregrines/peregrine-camera-1/ ---------- Post added 14-05-2017 at 16:00 ---------- Teatime in Sheffield and Derby
  12. Shame I missed that feeding session All three Sheffield chicks 'home alone' although there is a parent on the perch watching over them Over in Nottingham, Dad is trying his best to keep the chicks warm but they're too big for him now and the thermal imaging camera shows that he isn't doing a good job but at least he is on standby ---------- Post added 13-05-2017 at 09:57 ---------- Brunch time in Sheffield http://peregrine.group.shef.ac.uk/peregrines/index.html Chicks have done the standard trick of hiding out of site of the cameras with just a little head popping into view as it takes food
  13. Feeding time in Woking of all 5 chicks http://www.wokingperegrines.com/
  14. Hope everyone is safe at the scene both firefighters and the building occupants
  15. Feeding time in Sheffield http://peregrine.group.shef.ac.uk/peregrines/index.html Once again I am amazed how quickly the chicks are growing
