Dont pay nothing I got one from the same company six months ago just ignore all letters and they go away in the end.

metaphor, If you buy something from one place you don't take it back to somewhere else. So if you get anything from SKY why would you ring BT.

This is the case. Sky only buy so much equipment in the exchange and pay BT a certain amount to maintain. Depending on what level of maitenace they are prepaired to pay depend on the service they get. Hence guess why sky bb is cheap. That is a fact, take from someone who know's not guesses.
