That may be Norton Lees ye thinking about there. Norton playing fields are the opposite side of Graves Park to Norton Lane. I live just off Norton Lane itself & I can safely say Norton is a really quiet area. Not too far away from meadowhead shops, about 10/15 mins walk, where various takeaways, a spar, mitchells wine merchants (with a small restaraunt next door), a hairdressers, laundret & The Norton Beefeater pub (excellent pub & restaraunt thats never too hectic) are situated.

I think towns generally quite safe but theres still parts that attract those of lesser moral values than the average person out in the late evening/early morning.

& how much did that set ye back? I'm 18 on monday so I've organised a 4 day pub/club/party crawl starting tonight & finishing on monday night to mark the occasion.

ah, classic \m/ Is Motely Crue's new material any good? The only track i've heard off the "Red White & Crue" album is "Sick Love Song" (which is good but nothing at all on past tracks like "Dr Feelgood", "Looks That Kill", "Too Fast For Love", "Piece Of Your Action" & "Merry-Go-Round")

Norton lees is alright, seems very quiet & private (I walk down warminster Road into norton lees to go to my nans) Nice houses down there, people seem rather skittish but that might just be me.

Women have it reletivly easy. As long as they stick on tight "revealing" clothing when going out for a drink if they wish to do so they tend to have pulled by the end of the night. While guys on the other hand can wear the most expensive suit/trousers & shirt or whatever & still go home alone & wrecked at the end of the night.
