  1. They're 2 different press releases, it still says 'this is not a bomb scare' in the first one: http://www.southyorkshire.police.uk/news
  2. Exclusion zone isn't a mile, I'm on Ridgehill Ave and there's nothin reported down my end so if they're doing anything up there it must be only those close by.
  3. Ridgehill Ave is only closed at the top end, not the school end.
  4. I know someone who might be up for it. I'll ask and get back to you.
  5. This is what it says on the council website: Meadowhall Rd Due to an incident at the Transport Interchange various roads are closed in the area. 15/03/2008 15:45 http://sccplugins.sheffield.gov.uk/utc/prob1.asp
  6. If you want something unique/unusual I'd give etsy.com a try. It's a bit like ebay but it's all hand made stuff. This seller has some nice quirky stuff & is based in sheffield. I'm sure you'd find something on there that would be perfect. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5246288
  7. panic over then, there's actually someone stood on the walk path now, i doubt they'd be there if it was flooded, then again it's probably someone from the forum taking piccies!!
  8. It's after the Wicker arches, opposite where Carnells bike showroom used to be
  9. now it's refreshed it definitely looks like it's gushing over into the road.
  10. is it just my eye sight or has the river now over flowed onto the road on camera 17? http://www.thepcoffice.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=29
  11. I put all my lush purchases in my undies drawers until I use them, it makes them all smell yummy!! Although I do get strange looks from the hubbie when he catches me sniffing my socks!
  12. I think it's a great idea. Can't do the time, don't do the crime.
  13. article from the AMG website: KT Tunstall to play Carling Academy Sheffield. Following on from the acquisition of South Yorkshire’s former Roxy nightclub, Academy Music Group (AMG) can confirm the venue will be renamed Carling Academy Sheffield. The £3,000,000 development is underway and scheduled to open in April 2008. Plans for the venue include a large main auditorium and a secondary smaller room, emulating the success of its multi-room format at other AMG venues across the country, with an overall building capacity in excess of 2,000 *subject to the licence*. The diary is now open and already KT Tunstall has been confirmed to play Carling Academy Sheffield in the opening month with tickets for the gig on Wednesday 16th April 2008. Brit Award winner and Grammy nominee, KT Tunstall is riding high with her latest album ‘Drastic Fantastic’, the follow-up to her 4 million selling debut, ‘Eye To The Telescope’.
