We are quite new to the Stannington area, and we are the proud parents of a 12 week old baby boy but we are looking for activities where we (together or individually) can meet other parents and make new friends. I have looked and there is some outdated information about a couple of playgroups in the area, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions? Thanks, Andy + Hayley

Must have happened not long before I passed through earlier, about half 4. Looked a horrible crash, passable just, lots of debris everywhere, people on the scene managing the traffic. Was on the brow of the hill climbing from Ladybower, past the Strines turn, near the "welcome to Sheffield" sign as the road flattens out. Counted 6 police cars, 3 ambulances and 3 fire engines passing at speed, never a good sign... thoughts go out to all involved.

Have u tried asking around schools and seeing if the Spanish teachers would be interested? Hope this helps!
