I'm a plumber and I go there for my materials, and they have a large showroom at reasonable prices. If they aint got it, they can probably get it. martinC 28-03-2006, 19:36 cheers...will check it out Pingpang 28-03-2006, 23:58 on a similar but particularly uncomfortable tip, where can i get some bathroom suite slippers? i'd imagine they'd be quite heavy, and a bit of an effort to get up & down the stairs in  fnkysknky 29-03-2006, 07:39 http://www.clickbathrooms.co.uk supply some nice stuff at good prices and they're based in Sheffield. Super guys , they came and discussed the whole project , went through the brochures with us , sourced and collected all the bits we needed , removed the old suite & tiles etc and and then fitted out the whole lot. Dans website is here http://www.sheffield-property-maintenance.com/ - you can see some pictures of our bathroom being done! Strix 03-10-2008, 09:24 http://www.clickbathrooms.co.uk supply some nice stuff at good prices and they're based in Sheffield.those aren't trading as primrose on ebay are they? the whole product range looks too familiar, and some of the showroom pics (unless they're ones swiped from free online libraries) Rocklegend 03-10-2008, 16:37 Herbert Fairey's have moved onto Penistone Rd Trading Estate-on Old Penistone Rd near Pulse and Cocktails. They have got some real bargains just now;especially on display clearances. Just found this post of yours, thanks for the glowing write up. greenbay91 21-09-2010, 19:16 I got my bathroom suite from bathrooms4all they where good quality. aardvark6535 21-09-2010, 19:46 Depending on the quality you want, You may find it cheaper to go over to France for it, Less than half the price and better quality than you can get here pound for pound. A friend found it cheaper to order one from France and pay for delivery, but if you have a van? check it out. greenbay91 21-09-2010, 20:23 Petrol & ferry would not be cheap but if u made a holiday out of it, its a good idea. moopind 28-04-2011, 13:25 We have got a little ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet, basin) which needs re-doing. There's an old-fashioned shower cubicle which needs demolishing really and a modern type one putting in. Anyway, a few months ago we nearly bought a load of stuff from B&Q when they had discounts on their bathroom stuff. The toilet and basin were branded 'Armitage Shanks' but I saw something on the net saying that this wasn't really Armitage Shanks stuff, but a unique-to-B&Q range of budget stuff that AS had let them brand with their name. A plumber suggested to me that B&Q bathroom stuff was not good quality stuff and that we should look elsewhere. We never did get around to doing the little bathroom. Is the B&Q stuff cr@p? Is there somewhere which sells modern, simple designs which will fit better and have better taps and stuff? My concern with B&Q and the like is that they often include taps in with packages, but there may be no spares for them when they go wrong a few months down the line. Expensive, isn't it, just getting a small bathroom re-done? swfcowls 28-04-2011, 16:46 We have got a little ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet, basin) which needs re-doing. Expensive, isn't it, just getting a small bathroom re-done? You might have been better starting a new thread. However, we have just had our bathroom renovated by Dan2802 (see earlier post). Would recommend, would also recommend "The Bathstore" for the suite, they always have deals on & the quality is far superior to B&Q. one_day 28-04-2011, 17:11 i vouch for bathstore there stuff is really good ive been in to b&q before and you know if you lean on the bath panel it dints well bath store is really good stuff and doesnt dint and obviously they wouldnt just have really good bath panels and nothing else of the same quality lol jacknat 28-04-2011, 17:12 I fitted a suite from the bathstore last year and agree that they are quality, and the after service was good too, when there was a fault with the sink they swapped it with no hassle :) moopind 28-04-2011, 17:22 Thanks for the replies. I suppose that's what I'm after - the (positive) experiences of people who've fitted suites from various places... |
