Having just read pk014b7161 post on Wavy Davy the Barber it reminded me of my book of memories I’m writing at the moment and thought I would let you have a read.
I have changed the names so as not to offend anyone.
Have a look and tell me what you think, I do appreciate constructive criticism.

I've read your taster and must say you have a very engaging, easy-to-read style...(o: You know how to tell a story and the dialogue sounds very realistic. - There are some minor punctuation errors and a few typos, which you will no doubt sort out at a later stage.

Just read it. Really good reading. The dialogue is just the kind of stuff that I like to read when I'm 'chilling out'.
Great stuff Mick. Well done.

I must say well done to you, it's not easy to write about your life, it sounds easy, but to keep people interested you have to have the knack, and from what I've read, you have it.
I have also tried to write about my formative years, and although I've put a lot of work into it, it comes across as just someone's diary, it will only appeal to my family, which is what it was intended for, but I'd love to have done it with interest to other people.
You should keep it up, because you are able to put a story together,I'm truly bored with mine so it's gathering dust somewhere.
