I got my copy of Diablo 3 yesterday, and cancelled everything to spend all weekend playing it...
Only to find you can't even install it until 11:00pm on Monday.
That surely must be the ultimate agony!!!
I feel like a kid who's been told Christmas has been put back a week!

Ultimate pain, getting Halo 3 about 3 days before general release and your Xbox RROD's when you put the game in.

OK that's a bit more painful, actually.

the ultimate gaming pain is when a game comes out and you desperatly want it and you cant because your skint.
theres loads of games i always want and i end up finaly getting them about 2 month after when the hype has died down.

In this case you're not missing much. We won't be able to log in for another day at least...
I always get motion sickness playing in 1st person games especially in tunnels, mazes and such.
Setting up and wiring all the PC bits (mobo, RAM, gfx, HDD, etc.) and PSU, wiring the J-PAC in the arcade cab, grabbing a Mame distro and a few roms from my NAS, finding and faffing around with a front end for a bit, all getting feverishly ready for some Mame-in-a-cab goodness over a few hours at least...
...and realising afterwards I don't have a on/off switch handy for the PC mobo (bought caseless and going caseless in the cab), and there's no jumpers to configure the mobo into an "on-by-default" mode
Pah!
