We have now finally had confirmation that our record attempt has been accepted! :love:
29 hours exactly is now the new official Guinness World Record for the longest badminton match - doubles.
Thank you so much for everyone that got involved by playing/volunteering and most importantly donating.
The event and the awards night which followed raised over a staggering £6,000 for the NSPCC.
The project in Shiregreen has also rewarded us with funding to get a local club night with coaching started in the near future!
The record comes to Sheffield all the way from The Netherlands!!
We are currently working on updating our site and expect to have everything around the events on there in the near future - www.sfbc.org.uk
