my computer died last night, when i switch it on the screen goes fuzzy for a second, goes to the normal windows loading screen with the timer bar, then goes to black and stays like that - i can get in through safe mode but otherwise it always goes to black before actually loading up.

please anyone help!

Did you try starting it in last known good configuration sheffieldism?
