Hi about a week ago I bought an electronic pest repeller for use in the house as we have ants in the kitchen. Can any one please tell me if these pest repellers are harmful to dogs as they use ultrasonic waves and electromagnetic waves. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Are we to assume that dogs that weren't fighting now are?

this article says that it can be heard by pets so I would imagine they would upset/annoy/frighten dogs. i don't think it would cause them any physical harm, though. you can buy antibark collars that omit ultrasonic sounds to teach them not to bark so it is something they dont like but as they are used for these products i would assume it is safe.
having said that, you can still buy antibark collars that give the dog an electric shock.
I, personally, would find another method of deterring the ants, if possible.

have you read the leaflet with the product, as it may say not suitable for dogs.
try these

be careful on some of them natural ones as there may be certain things that are toxic to dogs on the list. I dont recognise any as toxic but i would google the certain ones you want to try.
good luck, hope this helps
I'm confused! Whats the electronic pest repeller got to do with 'dogs fighting with each other'?

You and me both.
Awaiting clarification but it looks like the neighbouring dogs are none to impressed with the ant repellent method he's adopted and are beating each other up in protest.
I'd be surprised if it has any effect on the ants though
