Found an old game I want on http://www.gog.com, it will work on Dad's Windows XP powered Laptop but not my Windows 7 powered Desktop at the Flat, thing is Dad doesn't like me downloading stuff on his Laptop as my IT Graduate Brother thinks everything I ever download is virused and has therefore told Dad not to let me :(

However, this game is from a reputable source, and isn't virused, so should I download the rather spiffing Under a Killing Moon game?

Please vote in the poll.

Are you incapable of reading? I asked for people, especially the likes of YOU, not to insult me!:loopy:

Anyway it's a non-starter, Dad's Laptop doesn't have enough hard drive space left :(

If the game does work on Win7, then you haven't a problem in this instance.

For future reference: as it's your dad's lap-top you shouldn't download anything using that computer, if that's what he's asked you to do.

Get him and/or your brother to visit the site for themselves to demonstrate that the file source is trusted, then perhaps they'll relent.

ETA: looks like I was typing as Rich posted.

It says on the site it's compatible with.. Windows Vista (32 & 64 bit)

this means, it will also work on Windows 7
