A push bike or motorbike helmet?
push bike presumably, otherwise it's the police and not the bf that object.
try Halfords, they sell a range, I had to buy to satisfy the gf, I try not to wear it though.

Bike Helmets are quite trendy nowadays, gone are the days of bucket on a head type thing.
Try JE James Cycles off bramall lane for a good selection.

Although irrelevant IMO - fashion Vs brain haemorrhage? Tough choice.
it's a cost benefit analysis based on how likely you think you are to fall off your bike and seriously injure yourself balanced against the uncomfortable and stupid looking (and rather pc) bike helmet.
Personally I managed to ride a bike to the age of 22 or something without a brain hemorage, and with only a few falls. So despite the GF insisting I by a helmet, I do my best to avoid wearing it.

Well I hope for your sake that your carefree attitude doesn't one day backfire on you.

Its for a push bike, i used to ride a bike everyday to school/college without a helmet and was fine, and i'm not planning to go jumping off mountains... I hope i don't fall off as to seriously damage my brain either t020!
I went to try some on today and to be honest i can't see how much effect they would have if i fell off anyway - afterall its just a bit of hard foam which sits on top of your head - it doesn't even have a bit around the back of your head. I'm sure someone will have a go at me for saying that - scientific research and all that lol

Sheffield lane top is about the cheapest in sheffield and they have a big selection, however if you want to look proffessional like me, well before i retired anyway, try race scene in Barnsley.
Always buy new don't touch second hand and if you do come off your bike and hit your head then throw it away.
