Does anyone else use henna on their hair? I did for the second time yesterday, red one from Lush.
It's so much hassle compared to chemicals (takes a whole day of sitting round with clingfilm on your head), but my hair smells gorgeuous, looks incredibly shiny and vibrant deep red, and feels so soft cos henna's an amazing conditioner and last time I did it was 6 months ago cos it stays for so long! I'm never touching that chemical stuff again!
ANyone ever had any orange disasters with henna? I once squirted a whole tube by accident on the crotch of some trousers :s
I've used henna wax a few times - not recently though takes to long, but the wax only takes about 30 minutes if you cover it will a plastic bag - never thought of clingfilm. Lovely conditioner but my hair is too fine stranded to use it too often, it's soft enough already so don't need alot of conditioner. I've tried the colours once or twice but that was a long time ago so can't remember but seem to think it was a nice red colour.

Lol... 25 quid on BATH stuff?! I don't blame the man.... If it was bed toys for you and him then fair enough, spend 25 quid by all means ;)

Haha he'll love that idea! ;)
Is henna not for blondes then !?
Is there a blonde equivelant !?
I used henna years ago to dye my hair red. It stank, was very messy and the red wasn't very bright. The lush one sounds better. You need to be careful if using henna because if you want to die it again with normal dyes, it isn't recommended to put it on top of henna and you'll have to grow it out.

Lush one smells lovely...spicy and nice, but I suppose you might not like it. Yes extremely messy, takes a whole day, I'd recommend 5 hours for a bright red/brown/black (depending on which colour you choose) and then it takes me an hour in the shower getting it out (and all over the bath and the shower curtain, which is now a nice yellow colour. It's SO worth it in the end, because your hair looks shiny and amazing, and is so soft.
