Did anyone listen to Steve wright show on radio 2 today.
He played a song about 4pm with the words "bring me flowers" and it had an Egyptian theme to the music in the chorus.
It is'nt the Barbara Streisand/Neil Diamond one but another female singer.
Any ideas anyone.
Cycle if you can't find the info you want here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/wright/playlist_friday.shtml)
then you could always email the show and ask them.

email steve.wright@bbc.co.uk then you'll get a personal response from Steve Wright himself rather than some automated crap from the BBC's promotions department.

Ask him for a autograph as well, as he sends them out
If you caught any of the lyrics then try putting them into google in quotation marks, followed by the word 'lyrics'. 9 times out of 10 you'll get the answer straight away.
Please don't eat the flowers 'cos I'm sure they're goin' to get you, yeah?

In the interest of pedantry, I must point out that the song you quote is actually called "Beware Of The Flowers (Cos I'm Sure They're Going To Get You Yeh)".
It was the B-Side of the classic John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett single "Really Free"

Many thanks - memory obviously not working properly!!
I saw John Otway once - it was a long time ago!

In case you haven't found the song yet, I believe it's called:
IF I THOUGHT YOU’D EVER CHANGE YOUR MIND
by Agnetha Faltskog (the blonde one from Abba).
It's available as a single.
The original version was by Cilla Black in 1969.
