First yr of uni is almost over, and i was wondering where's the best place to my form and eat in Sheffield.

Well some sort of clue on the type of food you want etc. might be an idea.

We went to Nando's on West Street for our end of first year meal, there were 15 of us I think. Have a look at the thread about Nando's for more info, it's somewhere on this board :)

Have a word with Mr Khan from the Bombay. He would be able to give over the whole upstairs for a reasonable group. Food cheep if you like Indian food. It is also very nice.

Is there any Greek places where you can smash plates? Or is that Italian? DUnno....

I'm all open to suggestions, but its got to be around the Town area, where we can get transport or walk to.

That should do ya - I know a few people who've taken big groups there before. It's just down from Devonshire Green.

Mad Greek is great for groups - I've taken many there. There's loads of good groups restaurants on West Street & on London Road i'd recommed La Salsa as Chrsitina always gets folks up & salsaing after the meal. The guy at Marble Court (formerly Top Wok) on The Moor has always been good with us too. Depends how many folks you're looking at taking I guess.

We went to KPasa (italian/spanish - west st) as a group of nearly 50, pre ordered meals - bought drinks by table and it all worked very well.
