im shocked after watching the program this morning offa my sky+

im stuck halfway between thinking that its a fake staged by the BBC and that its real and amazing.

I would like other people opinions.

The part of the show where you see the cream working could be made using computer video editing tools but looked very real and they had many a celebrity to back it up. It just seemed a bit like a good drama from the bbc more than a exposee. My brain is not going to be able to turn off today thinking about this.

If its all true i feel so sorry for him as he lost alot but im really struggling to believe. Ive searched the web and found nothing referring to it except for the program listing on the bbc website.

If its true im gonna get my tub or "the essence" even tho it contains pee, very impressive program either way.

It would be useful to have the title of the programme.

Also, can you give a little more detail about whatever it is your querying? All I could work out from the above was that it was something to do with cream?

I was gonna post this the other day , i dont think its real but who knows stranger things have happened !!!!

i thought it was real at first,but i think it was all just a big joke really.some tell tale signs for me were some seemed to be acting,and then at the end of the programme it said a screamer productions.its all a crank yanker.

i saw it too and i'm quite sure its a hoax - terrible special effects showing phillipa forresters wrinkles disappear before the camera, staged reactions when the lab was broken into, using jane seymours greenhouse to grow the plant as the climate in malibu was perfect etc etc. :loopy: :loopy: :loopy: I wish i'd watched the family that walk on all fours as that was on at the same time and looked much more interesting

lol that program had me going thats for sure right until it went over the top in last 20mins.

:o i know im am totally baffled but it cant be fake as he really was on bcc news a few months back talking about it :huh: but some bits seemed so stagged or just like wtf but around that loreal brought out the face lift stuff :confused:

I must say, I fell for that hook line and sinker! :huh: I even shed a little tear at the end because it was so heart wrenching.

I came to search the internet.. to actually see if he'd succeeded in getting his product out (and buy some!) and thankfully I was directed to here, meaning that I don't make an April fool out of myself...

Well i think it went to over the top at the end which is when i relised it was a hoax. It all happend to quick and when he went back to jorden and everyone had fled. A good hoax i have to say and it does leave you thinking in the back of your mind that it could be true lol.

I just came online to find out more because I just couldn't work it out and cuz i only saw the last few minutes it really got me. I found a good review here.

I thought the camera work gave it away..though....try following the action that closely in real time!!!.anyway I think I was thrown by how convincing he was..or was it just because he was so different to his TV personna. mad that this is so fascinating..haven't we all got beds to go to? :D

I just watched that at a mates house, I believed it at the time, but on the drive home i started thinking of stuff that made me doubt it, these are the things I was thinking,
when he cut his hand it looked pretty fake, loads of blood too fast and stuff like that, as well as the wrinkles coming out in the mirror on whatsernames face. The car hanging out near the labs seemed pretty staged. All the celebritys who were narrating seemed to be ones the public might expect would be mates with Neil, also when the girl who worked at the labs got fired, I doubt she would have allowed her face to be shown in the show. Also while I was watching I was saying to my mate, I can't belive hes been so into this for so long but he's never used his status to do a botanical tv show or anything like that. and the other thing I was saying was that it had to end well otherwise they wouldnt have aired it, seeing as they'd have given away too much information for him not to have completed and patanted his work, but as you know it ended bad.

So anyways i just got in the internet and found all these messages to put my mind at rest.

This message was posted March 21, 2006 which meant it was broadcast a long time before April Fools Day. I saw a repeat of this show last night and typed in "Neil Morrissey cream" in to google and couldn't believe my eyes - this was the first result, made me proud ;)

So, even though this was shown way before April 1 it's still an April Fools?

I think it is coz it was so over the top towards the end. I think it was meant as an early april fools.

I too was amazed and thought this episode to be real bear in mind that it was well before april fools day. However, AND THIS IS NOT A HOAX, I found somthing being advertised on the tv some time ago and did see results happening in front of your eyes, I OF COURSE did not believe it, however I started to think of all the products that could in fact give you a 12hours lift to the face really geting rid of wrinkles, I started with sugar water and cream and salt water mixed together and yes, it was very tight after leaving in to dry. However, the flys and bees would love me, and it was not really comfortable. But I have after several weeks got a remedy together and this is NO HOAX and it does work use at night in the morning great results that last, but most importantly just improve not just a sudden thing short lived. If anybody really wanted the combination which is usually only natural products... that does not even cost 1p per day reply here and I will let you know. I was excited at first and was goingto patent it, but after watching poor morrissey I think I will give it a miss.

I trawled the net for the answers and there was none so I posted the first post. Having googles spiders trawl forums is such a excellent idea and contributes so much to the www.

Would quite like to see this show again but cant see any repeats on TV or torrents on the web. :( Guess I never will either. Shame! :confused:
