Have voted, but don't know why I bothered. Hardly going to identify a groundbreaking new trend, is it....

Technically the Sport isn't a newspaper, it is a porn mag.

Yeah why not put all the papers up. Daft. I reckon there's a lot of grauniad readers on this site.

I voted the Independent as nobody actually "reads" the Sport. ;)

You'll be lucky to find much news in 'The Sport' anyway. Actually, you'll be lucky to find much of anything to read.

Indy is a quality paper.

Even if this was a sensible poll with all the other options in it I would have said the Independent anyway as that is what I choose to read when I (rarely) buy a paper.

Except on Sundays of course, then it has to be The News Of The World... :hihi:

I would not read either of them. I read the Daily and Sunday Telegraphs, and reluctantly buy the Guardian every Tuesday for the Education supplement. The Sport is for masturbating wrecks, and the 'Indie' a little too leftwards-leaning for my tastes.

Surley the Independent helps to stimulate a mass debate whereas the Sport....... Oh hang on, I'll get me rottweiler.

I think the editorials in the FT are fair and balanced.

The next days, this would be particulally helpful with the lottery, pools and horses.

Next time you do a poll, include some papers that people actually read.
The only time you ever see the Independent is left behind on train seats, and the Sport in factory lavatories :D

Actually The Sport had a really good artical revently in which it attempted to engage public interest in the siting of mobile phone masts, and I'm sure you agree that when it comes to a good mast debate you really have to go some to beat The Sport.

I wouldnt use any of the tabloid papers to wipe my bottom on. They are full of absolute tripe and big brother.

The aforementioned papers have single handedly attempted to ruin Englands world cup chances. Also the Iraq war- there soldiers kill hundreds of inncocent British Soldiers, our boys out there give em a slap or 2 and we are the baddies?

As regards the broadsheets, well, I don't trust a paper where the sport isn't at the back. Also I don't like reading papers that are bigger than me.

With the invention of the internet, there is no need for newspapers. There's nothing in a newspaper you can't find out online.

I buy the Sheffield Star a couple of times a week, and occassionally something like the Daily Mirror if there's a free DVD offer on it or whatever.

Given the choice between the two, I'd reluctantly take the Indie (but have a peek at the front of the Sport - well, I am a bloke).
