Has anyone been there to the Xscape, castleford entertainment place?
WE went yesterday, I'd like to try skiing. does anyone go there.?

Yeah ive been a few times too, nice restaurants and cinema, and the freeport is just round the corner for some great bargains! :D

So, is it any good?????

not compared to the alps.
But it's better than a dry slope.

To be honest, having done the real thing several times now, a 100 metre straight line 45 degree slope that's about 30 metres wide with drag lifts is a real disappointment. You spend more time being pulled slowly up it (and queuing) than you do actually coming down the slope, and you barely have room to build up any speed, never mind get any cornering in.
But if you need a bit of practice, or to warm up your muscles prior to the real thing, it's the best you'll get I suppose.

I’ve been there twice along and also to the one in Milton Keynes too, I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn to ski to learn there first before jetting out to the alps.

I went once nearly 2years ago with college, i did snowboarding(well had a lesson) and we spent nearly all day there, we had a brilliant day and would love to go back, i would like to have tried that overhead assault course!
