i am just wondering if there are any local farms that allow children to visit and see how the farm works.

Yep second Whirlow Hall Farm, know they take school parties, and have open days for the public....

Im at Heeley City farm this weekend (25th) as there is a craft day there!

I think the craft day is 12pm while 2pm.

I realised that after I posted it.

I know there is a craft EVENT there which I think is 12 to 2pm, I cant find the website I found the information now!
