Going to Manchester in a couple of weekends time. Anyone able to recommend places to go?

If you like clubbing and House/Breaks/Techno or Hip Hop then Tribal Sessions @ Sankey's Soap on Friday and Redlight @ Sankey's Soap on a Saturday are the places to go..

Anywhere along Deansgate and your laughing. Some really cool pubs along there. The Atlas at the end (walking away from Piccadilly Station) is really cool. When you come out of that bar, take your next right and hit the pubs located in the arches.

I think you're referring to Deansgate Locks which runs alongside the canal (across the road from Deansgate station) rather than Deansgate itself, which is the main drag through town and populated by slightly more mainstream bars.

Jilly's rock club which I think is on Oxford Road. Only if you like rock though, obviously.
