Hi, can any of you remember, in the mid to late sixties, the wonderful dougnut machine at woolworths on haymarket? this contraption enthralled me, and no doubt a generation of kids out shopping with their parents on a Saturday,I can still remember the smell, and the anticipation, when the newly cooked doughnuts, hot off the machine, would be coated in caster sugar, and then handed to you in a white paper bag, luxury, it made walking round the market with your mam all seem worthwhile, and if I was really lucky, a two bob airfix plastic aeroplane kit from the toy department, small luxuries, I grant you, but what great memories, any views on this anybody?
cheers, Intitot

There is one of those stands, at the Doncaster Lakeside outlet. I smell them all the time and last week I actually bought some...Mmmmm!

So get yourself out there to rekindle the taste!
