The little star actually plays the banjo too! He's just too cute for words!

He was far from good! He sounded nothing like Formby, nor did he even look like him. It is obvious that he won on the "Aww...isn't he cute!" factor and nothing else!

Totally agree, no way was he playing the banjo, he only won cos of people voting via the Awww aint he cute factor. Christna Aguilara should have won with Noddy Holder second. For gods sake its a singing contest not a cuteness contest :rant: , Whats the point if the cute one wins every time wether he can sing or not. :loopy:

Aw, you're not really being fair on the poor lad. I saw him before and he can actually play it as Cat asked him to play some more to prove it. He learnt to play it ridiculously quickly, something like 5 days. Maybe when he was asked to play it again when he won it it was with back up tapes. Having said that his singing wasn't up to much and you're probably right that he only won because of the cute factor.

Trust me, I do not watch trash like this through choice, but more through having a wife who always tunes into this type of rubbish! Try as I might to ignore it and play on my PC instead, the annoying sounds of the great Formby being murdered on screen drew my stunned attention!!!

I thought it was really unfair that he won he was the nations favourite loser... so to speak, so he really shouldnt have been there, to me it was a total kick in the teeth to the others who won their heats, and he won just cause the nation thought he was cute, I agree with an earlier post saying the girl who was christina aguilera should have won, her voice was amazing.

Did anyone else think the girl that was Bonnie Tyler was awful, she wasnt in tune and made strange noises for certain words, definitly didnt sound anything remotely like the original!

I thought it should have been between Christine aguilera, Lucie Silvas (my favourite) and Joss Stone (Although I don't even like the original) It's supposed to be the best soundalike, and I'm sorry, even if he was cute, he didn't sound like the original. But to go back to another posters' point - I should get out more!
