do ladies like a bit of stubble on a guy - say a couple of days growth or do they prefer the shaved and smooth look??

Mmm stubble! ;) Just a few days growth, not a full on beard... Just enough to tickle but not enough to scratch ;)

Stubble looks good but hurts when you go in for a full on snogging session! :p

I nearly always have a bit of stubble now. Wet shave every few days but I usually just can't be arsed as even though I've shaved you can still see it a bit because I have black hair.

no its annoying, i dont know whether it happens with all men but my boyfriend has god bloody sandpaperitis even if he shaved that morning - 12 hours later its back - and its horrible, it can he felt but not seen. Its nasty! Smooth is the future. When will they invent chinwax for men?

i always prefer a couple of days growth myself but it seems it's pretty much 50/50 in the voting!
perhaps i should have put a goatee as an option too

Stubble can look kinda sexy but I agree with the other ladies who've posted on here and said that it hurts and scratches when snogging. Getting sore "stubble rash" on your face after snogging is not fun!

And dare I say it, it's not just a rash around your face that you can get!! :P

I prefer stubble to look at, but shaven is more practical I guess.
Mind you I don't mind beards, and by the time they have grown they are soft.

My boyf had a full on goatee type beard... which he was threatening to grow longer and braid  it didnt really bother me, altho I thought he'd look better without it... and he does :D
Maybe I must be immune to stubble cos it never irritated any area of skin, I thought it was like stroking a small bird :D

But soo true.
To be honest i don't mind, because after a couple of days it isn't as scratchy.

I shave every few days, so always seem to have stubble. If I shave everyday, it really wrecks my skin as I have to shave against the grain to get it smooth, which takes it's toll on your face. As I don't seem to get involved in a lot of kissing at the moment, I find it quite liberating that I can change my facial hair with my mood. Quite often have a full beard for a week, then a goatee, then clean shave. It's quite sad the things that entertain me really.

If I don't shave (my face) first thing in the morning, it just feels really irritating and I have to get it scraped off before the day is over.
Being lazy and not liking to devote time and effort to this daily task, I did experiment by covering my face with the missus' Imac (or whatever it's called). My facial hair being industrial grade stuff compared to the downy fuzz ladies may have on their legs, I upped the time factor considerably.
I was most diappointed to find that a) It didn't work b) my face was a wee bit on the sore side c) in the time taken, I could have several shaves.

My own stubble confuses me (and people around)
for its red/ginfer colour whereas my hair is far not red.
It's like having different eye-colour. They are always asking, may be tiresome. That is only one reason.
So I keep avoiding it.
