Just to let you know that I went to see this last night - it was not scary in the slightest, bit jumpy in places but it was sick and wrong!!! I walked out before it had even finished cos some scenes were just not watchable - as if you want to see some inbred hillien billlie bloke raping a teenage girl!!

Would not recommend it in the slightest!

I went to see it about a week ago. I thought it was quite good. Yeah, it's sick, but there's parts of it you can laugh at too.

The fella with the beard running round covered in blood at the end reminded me of Evil Dead a lot.

Not a bad remake either. I fyou like Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc, you'll like it.

The first part was quite good, building up the family and you were not too sure what was out there. But then in did get a bit too sick in the middle. But to be honest by the end I was just laughing (was it meant to be a comedy) I though they were supposed to be mutants that lived in the hill, but it seemed like they were all super human!! The could recover from any injury, and cover miles of desert in seconds. I though it was a bit disappointing.

Its not that bad but i was expecting it to be a lot scarier. The scariest thing about it is the way they look. Tsk tsk

Went to see The Hills Have Eyes last night. I'm assuming it wasn't actually meant to be funny... if you're wanting a scary film, don't bother watching this one.

well just seen hostel - not too much to get worked up about.
plenty of naked flesh, obviouslt tarantino esque gore.think reservoir dogs etc,or payback(the hammer scene) otherwise nothing to e othered by.

went to see inside man, now that is worth seeing imho.

I thought hostel was pretty good to be honest. Plenty of gore (though nothing that hasn't been seen in smaller amounts in other stuff) and fit naked women for the fellas but overall not the gorefest/puke inducing scary movie i was expecting - it actually had a story. worth a look
p.s it'll still make you wince quite badly in places though!!!!

As a massive Horror Fan I was really looking forward to this film. Boy how disapointed I was with it, its probably one of the worst/boring horror films i've seen. The original is far better.

Cheers! I've been a bit busy of late.

I love "Last House on the Left" its in my top 10 all-time films. I can understand its not everyones cup of tea though. I really like the 70's early 80's low budget independant film scene :hihi:
