In line with this thread What music are you listening to? (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&postid=98361#post98361) and fantomas' post I made a group over at audioscrobbler.com for SheffieldForum.
So join up and join the group so we can all watch what we're listening to. Group stats are disabled right now but they are going to be very cool when they go up. (i.e SheffForum fav song/fav group etc.)...
Go to audioscrobbler.com, (1) make a username, (2) download the plugin for your mp3 player (3) sign in (4) click Group Directory > Websites > SheffieldForum > Join Group

Don't think there's a type of music I don't listen to at least some of. And that includes Country and Western and opera too! :o
I'm always a rock guy when it comes to the crunch tho! :thumbsup:

I listen to most genres to be honest but I did recently lose over 40 gig of mp3's so I'm kinda limited at the moment - gutted!

A DVD writer is not a bad idea.
I recently bought a 120gb drive to keep my MP3s on. Hope it doesn't die, cos I don't much fancy ripping 1200 CDs again! Took 'kin ages. :lol: :shocked:

Yeah I could have just used my cdrw but I get lazy when backing stuff up - doh. Managed to get some of it back but mostly just the hip hop, reggae and dnb. Lost nearly all my house, motown, soul, breakbeat, rock etc. - bugger :(
To be honest I would have been ok but not just 1 hard drive but 2 died...

How do I upload my playlist though? I can't get teh plugin to work in winamp 5 :(

You don't have to upload anything Rich. Just start the plugin, it will automatically send info in about what you are playing. So at first you won't have many songs on the site.
I just joined as angel_b - hopefully it won't be long before you can all ridicule my taste in music!
