View Full Version : Is our NHS that bad? 4U2NV 17-03-2006, 10:26 I think not after reading this.... utterly appaling:o http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4816152.stm 42fta 17-03-2006, 10:33 Dreadful, applying a cost value to an infant as it it were a commodity to be bartered. Our NHS has its faults, but at least they'd never do something like this  Jimbob1989 17-03-2006, 11:18 Are we not suppose to have the best or one of the best free health services in the world too  well, I waited 3 or 4 hours last night after I collapsed and they were worried it might have been epelepsy :loopy: I swear more people must die in the waiting room than else where. Imagine how the mother must have felt in this story though :( Alex C. 17-03-2006, 11:43 Are we not suppose to have the best or one of the best free health services in the world too  well, I waited 3 or 4 hours last night after I collapsed and they were worried it might have been epelepsy :loopy: I swear more people must die in the waiting room than else where. Imagine how the mother must have felt in this story though :( I doubt it - if the hospital A&E departments are busy, as they often are at nights, they prioritise their cases according to the severity of the problem - I trust their judgement, and at least if you do have any complications, you are in a hospital. And yes, this case is appaling - interesting to see what the outcome is |
