Dreadful, applying a cost value to an infant as it it were a commodity to be bartered. Shame on them.

Yeah, that's shocking... Our NHS has its faults, but at least they'd never do something like this :shocked:

Are we not suppose to have the best or one of the best free health services in the world too :huh: well, I waited 3 or 4 hours last night after I collapsed and they were worried it might have been epelepsy :loopy: I swear more people must die in the waiting room than else where.

Imagine how the mother must have felt in this story though :(

I doubt it - if the hospital A&E departments are busy, as they often are at nights, they prioritise their cases according to the severity of the problem - I trust their judgement, and at least if you do have any complications, you are in a hospital.

And yes, this case is appaling - interesting to see what the outcome is
