Is it just me or do other people find themselves shouting at the polititians on the radio or TV. I know perfectly well that they cannot hear me but cannot stop myself.

I'm constantly telling people to F off on radio phone ins. They seem to attract all the neo-fascists of the country!

I often find myself barking at the moon....

I do that all the time... I always answer the questions on those phone in quizzes as well, especially Steve Wright's "Big wall of sound" quiz.

Most definitely!

Hardly an edition of Today can pass without my resorting to venomous insults at my radio. I've found that Patricia Hewitt and her smug 'Everything's Roses in New Labour' tones usually light my blue touch-paper.

Also, Ruth 'let's be crystal clear, here' Kelly can make the blood pressure rise, informing us, just to be 'crystal clear' that well, that's just it. Like the education reforms, I can't understand what on earth she's trying to be 'crystal clear' about.

However, the worst case of radio shouting is the one when - usually on the Jeremy Vine show - two guests, coming from opposite ends of the argumentative spectrum, trade insults and the listener is confronted with a barrage of undecipherable twaddle. And added to this concotion of cacophony is Mr Vine himself shouting 'hold on, hold on.'

Not good radio.

Ah yes, the good old radio competition phone-in. Take Pop Quiz. They make my blood boil. They go on a pop quiz knowing next to nothing about the subject! I always shout at the radio 'I'll go on a dentistry competition as I know absolutely f*** all about dentistry, which is as much as you claim to know about pop music!'

Grrrrr.

The phrase "That's not what he asked, now answer the Fing question!!!!!" ought to be put to music and used as a jungle on both Today and PM.
