one of my regulars as just told me that my place as had a good write up in the star saying we were sheffields best up and comming pub for live bands........can anyone confirm this as i think he might be pulling my plonker.....having said that we've had some good bands on latley..........

I'm a bit biased but it is getting a really good reputation around the Sheffield music scene.

TJ Hughes is the building once occupied by House of Frasier. On Arundle Gate.

I think you're gonna have to be more specific lol, there are alot of places "opposite TJ's" :lol:

I was down there earlier on the look out but couldnt spot it!

TJ hughes is the last building on the right as you look down the hill from the Mc Donalds near HMV where the 52/51 bus stop is

The bar in question is on Arrundel Gate, opposite TJ Hughs. There are four or five bars/restraunt near the castle square tram stop, and bar 101 is one of them I believe.

Did it used to have a different name?
