Hi

iam now very happy and extremly grateful of this site after years of searchin i have now found my family just before i joined this site i wanna playing to give up my search this site was my last effort and infact one of my relations was actually on this site i was hopeing to find info about my dad and grandad but amazing i have found out a hell of a lot more about my family Thank you to everyone from this site who gave me info especially maryj

Thats great, I found a member her father who was not a member of this forum, so it does work.

Ex Sheffield now Dorset eh Joan.
I love Dorset especially round Poole, are you happier there than Sheffield..

Oh yes, but still miss some things in Sheffield. Reading these threads, I think I probably wouldn't know the place now, but it's fun to try to work to work it out along with a map and google.
I'm in Bournemouth, so I do go into Poole a couple of times a month.
Although I still have a brother and friends in Sheffield, I don't honestly think I would want to return to Sheffield to live.
We called in last year and broke down at Meadowhall....came all the way back with the car on a low loader and me with the budgie, in cage, on my lap.....we don't mention the Meadowhall word now :D
Soon the sun will come out and stay out, then I shall be REALLY happy.:cool:

Hi JoanI, I lived in sheffield all my life upto 2003. I then moved to Dorset, I lived in Wymouth, used to have days out to Poole, what a lovey place it was
unfortunately because of cercummstances beyond my control had o move back to yorkshire.

Hope you enjouy living in Dorset for a long time.
