I doubt that there are places in the city centre today serving some of those dishes. I'm sure you are wanting to know about Manchester Pudding, so there's a recipe here: http://www.manchesterfreebies.co.uk/manchester-pudding.htm bon appetit! PopT 17-03-2006, 09:30 PM We used to go to an Italian restaurant on Orchard Street near the Museum pub. In the late 60's we thought it was great. I think the place was called Romano's or something similar, perhaps someone else can remember the place. This was a time when we dressed to go out-Barney's suit, Sea Island cotton shirts from Austin Reeds, Town boots from Church's, Italian silk tie, Silk hankie in top pocket, Silk scarf and Dombey overcoat. Our girlfriends/wives dressed in the latest fashion We all felt a million dollars, when we went out. Does anyone else remember these times. Happy Days! Must have suffered a 'Senior Moment'. Happy Days! You are viewing an archive. To view the actual thread click here: Sheffield Forum | |
