*Twinkle* 16-03-2006, 14:54 Do you have any pets like a cat that could have knocked it over?
Agent Orange 16-03-2006, 14:55 totally asleep.
any chance you turned over in your sleep and knocked it over?
Duvets. My duvet always knocks things off my bedside table. I'm often woken up by the loud thumps in the middle of the night.
I blame the boogey man, he always does things like that!

Paul-T-Geist 16-03-2006, 17:22 No you're all wrong.......now do you believe ooooooooooooooooooooo...
Nah, no such thing as ghosts.
From what you say it was probably that mad axe murderer that's been seen going around near your house. Apparently he makes a couple of night-time visits before he chops up his victims as they sleep.
Make sure you lock the back door before you get in the bath

Don_Kiddick 16-03-2006, 18:03 It'll be a spot of earth tremor from mining subsidence
I am just listening to the radio, and it just went off for a few seconds.
and also a couple of weeks ago, I was in the bedroom, and the next minute the curtains had opened on their own.
oooh !
:shakes:
BasilRathbon 17-03-2006, 13:09 I too have had a paranormal experience - there's a certain part of my kitchen that, for some reason seems to always be a lot colder than the rest of the house, no matter what time of year it is. The only clue is that this area consists of a big white object with the words "fridge freezer" on the front.
Can anyone help?
balthasar 17-03-2006, 14:43 if this is a ghost and you wanted to kill it hit with a spirit level

There is always a perfectly rational explanation for all these things. So...
1. Your radio: There is maintenance work at Emley Moor transmitter this week. The BBC is all over the place as are the commercial stations.
2. Your curtains: I opened them.
Greybeard 17-03-2006, 16:21 Think we have a ghost too. The electric kettle sometimes switches itself on, and other times switches itself off long before it has come to boiling. We've been keeping it off the stand for a few days, if it manages to get itself back on there it will be a bell, book and candle job :D

Do you mean this guy?! (http://www.wwe.com/content/media/video/superstars/boogeyman/boogeymanjbl)

Don't kid yourself mate, even if a house is not old, the site can be haunted, who knows what went on there over the years...
